eKidsmind Declares May 2 National Child Safety Day

(PRWEB via PressReleaseHelp) February 15, 2007 -- May 2, 2007 will mark the first national child safety day designed to help keep our children protected. This month was chosen to honor Megan Kanka after which President Clinton signed Megan's Law on May 17, 1996.

There are approximately 700,000 children that are missing each year and this number is growing. With this in mind eKidsmind has designed a campaign that is nothing short of fantastic. The goal of our company is to distribute free fingerprint cards and child safety kits to every child in America. eKidsmind plans to use May 2, each year as a spring board to fingerprinting as many children as possible. This day will also serve as a reminder to parents and children everywhere to help keep them aware and involved in safety in order to help protect our children. There is nothing more precious than the beautiful innocent smile of a child, so please help us and print our link to free fingerprint cards and child safety kits at www.ekidsmind.net.

"As a mother of three young children I would like to challenge every parent and person with a child in their life to join a common community that watches over all our children. From keeping a second eye on that child in the play ground to helping keep all our children educated about safety rules. If we all do our part we can make this world a safer place for our children," says Ellen Moorman, President of eKidsmind.

About eKidsmind
Founded in 2003, eKidsmind (www.ekidsmind.net) concentrates on two things: helping children stay safe and educated. We provide an online tutoring program that is half of the cost of conventional tutoring. Learning from the comfort and safety of home with adult supervision is the answer for concerned hardworking parents everywhere.

Unfortunately education takes money, that's why eKidsmind has developed a school fundraiser that is second to none. Our new scratch&win fundraising system allows everyone to be a winner.

Teachers win because it allows them to raise an unlimited amount of money for school functions and needs. Kids love it because it is fun, easy and requires no bulky inventory or returns. And every donor enjoys playing and wins thousands of dollars of valuable coupons.

And finally we would like to extend an invitation to children of all ages to participate in our Art&Writing contest. Come compete with children around the country and the world while you are learning and having fun.
